I just spent half an hour trolling the internet trying to find SDK information in order to create a specific list of groups with which I could apply security. I was not even sure something like that existed. I finally decided to ask you guys, through your “chat online” support option, which I’d forgotten all about. I didn’t time it but I think BSP answered my question in about 43 seconds and has saved me HOURS of future work. You guys are continually awesome. Thanks for the tool and the expertise!

Our team just performed a major change to our metadata models by renaming a key business item. This effected hundreds of reports spread throughout our environment in public and personal folders. MetaManager Series 3 was able to provide me with a full impact analysis as to which reports were affected by this change and how to fix the reports. After repairing all of the reports in matter of minutes, I was able to use CPM Explorer to quickly rename reports that contained the old business names in their titles. And finally with a single drag and drop action in CPM Explorer, I was able to promote all of the updated reports from the development environment to our production environment. After one last run through Report Validator in MetaManager, I was able to confirm that the migration was a success! What could have proved to be daunting task was accomplished in under an hour.
