BSP Mail Plus provides a mechanism in which IBM Cognos Administrators can have more control over content being emailed from Schedules, Jobs and Cognos Viewer. 

Using BSP Mail Plus, the IBM Cognos Administrator can define a policy ranging from loose to strict for password protection of email attachments sent from within IBM Cognos. In its most lenient mode, BSP Mail Plus offers the ability to password protect attachments. In its most strict mode, BSP Mail Plus will require that users password protect on their attachments. This policy is enforced by removing any unencrypted attachments. BSP Mail Plus can also be used to completely disable the email attachment feature in IBM Cognos.

BSP Mail Plus provides support to:

• Append a legal disclaimer to email messages.
• Compress attached reports into a zip archive.
• Reject and strip attached reports from email messages.
• Password protect reports that are attached to an email.

• Proper Windows user permissions to install software
• Cognos 8.0 and higher
